Anastasia Dimitriadi is a letterer and illustrator currenlty living and working in Athens, Greece. She studied architeture at the School of Engineer of University of Thessaly and graduated in 2007. During her studies she majored in graphic arts and self-taught Byzantine iconography.
In 2008, she moved to Leros and founded A+D studio, working on several house and interior design projects. In 2013 she started attending lettering classes and she decided to devote herself to graphic arts. In 2015 she started studying calligraphy.
Anastasia’s main skills reside in lettering, typography and illustration. Every typeface she designs, supports Greek language. She loves hand drawing and she’s a keen learner.
Marpesia and Marpesia Pro are two hand drawn calligraphy typefaces designed with Gillott 170 nib. They combine classic and modern calligraphy styles and the are suitable for a variety of applications such as logos, stationery design, invitations, labels, merchandise products, etc.
